Bunny Hop Bonus Challenge

This employee game was designed with two primary goals: to increase direct deposit account activity and to transition employees from handwritten direct deposit submissions to an electronic submission process.

Prior to the game, staff training was conducted on the automated direct deposit system during a staff meeting. Team members also participated in role play scenarios during huddles to strengthen confidence in customer conversations and ensure readiness. Each participant practiced completing a successful submission to reinforce learning before the game began. Leadership prepared the prize structure and game materials, with rewards issued during weekly staff meetings and an overall winning team recognized with a larger incentive.

Branches were provided with themed poster boards featuring a spring inspired design, along with team game pieces and visual elements to support engagement at teller stations and workspaces. An Easter style game component included prize filled items used to drive participation and ongoing excitement throughout the campaign.

The overall market goal was 45 submissions across three branches, with a behavior focus on increasing staff comfort and consistency in using the electronic submission process instead of paper-based forms.

During the active period, the market achieved 35 submissions, showing strong participation and adoption of the new process. Behaviorally, staff demonstrated increased confidence and successfully embraced the electronic submission workflow. A prior version of the program had already shown strong impact, increasing submissions significantly compared to baseline activity, reinforcing the effectiveness of the gamified approach to training and behavior change.
