The branch was transformed with a beach inspired luau theme, using bright, seasonal décor to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Staff participated in the theme by wearing coordinated tropical attire on select days, and shoppers were encouraged to join in the fun by wearing their own themed clothing when visiting the branch.
A simple, interactive ring toss game was set up inside the branch to encourage participation and conversation. Shoppers could play the game for a chance to earn entries into a prize drawing. Different colored targets were used to determine the number of entries earned, adding a light competitive element and increasing engagement.
The grand prize drawing featured a beach themed gift collection, reinforcing the seasonal concept and drawing attention from foot traffic within the store. This helped create natural opportunities for staff to initiate conversations about available accounts and loan products.
The primary goal of the promotion was to generate new account openings and increase lending activity. The campaign successfully exceeded expectations, resulting in 31 new accounts and 13 new loans during the promotion period.
