Every Conversation Counts

From Training to Action: Aisle Walk Testimonial

“FSI training reinforced the importance of using visual cues to initiate friendly, natural conversations. While engaging in an aisle interaction, I noticed a shopper wearing a Geneva Youth Theatre Guild t-shirt, which provided an immediate connection point.

Because of my own past experience with the organization through my children, I was able to build rapport and have a meaningful conversation based on shared familiarity. This helped transition the discussion into information about our accounts and loan products.

Although the individual currently banks elsewhere, she expressed openness to future opportunities and provided her contact information for follow-up. Even if an immediate account is not opened, the interaction helped create a positive impression and laid the groundwork for a potential future relationship with the credit union.”
