This branch created a thoughtful community outreach activity focused on recognizing and supporting military personnel and law enforcement. Team members assembled and distributed themed “survival kit” goodie bags to military shoppers and also took the extra step to personally walk over and deliver bags to nearby locations where service members frequently visit.

Each item in the bag was intentionally chosen to carry a meaningful message, adding a personal and appreciative touch:
• Lifesavers to remind them of the many times they have been one
• Starburst for the burst of energy they need
• Payday as a lighthearted nod that their work is about more than money
• Gum to represent the importance of sticking together
• Tootsie Roll as a reminder to roll with the punches
• Snickers to help keep their sense of humor

The bags also included a heartfelt message of thanks, reinforcing appreciation for all they do to keep the community safe. This effort combined creativity, gratitude, and face to face connection, resulting in a memorable and meaningful experience.
