As part of a Pay It Forward campaign, a branch manager and assistant manager were given funds to make a positive impact in their community. They chose a creative way to make those dollars go even further.

They used a portion of their funds to purchase the remaining food and pastries at the end of the day from a local bakery, supporting a small business through an actual purchase. They then delivered the treats to the local police department as a special thank you for their service to the community.

Use some of the funds from a Pay It Forward or community outreach campaign to purchase food or treats from a local small business and deliver them to local police officers, firefighters or another group that serves your community.
