A branch community outreach effort supported a local peanut butter donation drive benefiting a regional food bank through a partnership with a nearby medical center. Two branches collected donations over a multi week period to help address a critical need in the community.

Peanut butter was chosen as the focus item due to its high nutritional value, long shelf life, and the fact that it is often one of the least donated but most needed pantry items for families experiencing food insecurity.

Through the generosity of members and the surrounding community, the branches successfully collected and contributed 143 jars of peanut butter. The effort highlighted strong community engagement and demonstrated how small, focused giving campaigns can make a meaningful impact for local families in need.
