Squeeze the Stress Away

A proactive branch engagement activity was created to increase visibility and spark meaningful conversations with shoppers inside the retail environment.

Team members walked the aisles with a shopping cart filled with branded orange stress balls, inviting shoppers to “think orange” while offering a simple way to relieve everyday stress. The stress balls served as both a giveaway and a natural conversation starter, making it easy for staff to approach shoppers in a friendly, non-intrusive way.

These interactions created opportunities to build personal connections and introduce the credit union’s products and services in a relatable context. By tying the concept of stress relief to financial well-being, team members were able to position solutions that help reduce financial stress for both potential and existing members.
