Back to School Giving Tree
Tucson Federal Credit Union turned its branch into a fun Back to School display while supporting a local school in the community.
The team decorated the branch with a creative school theme, including a handmade Giving Tree constructed from paper, complete with a trunk, bark, and branches. The tree helped draw attention to the school supply drive and encouraged members to participate.
To make the collection area part of the theme, the team also created a school bus to hold the donated school supplies. Customers/members and team members were invited to contribute needed items for a local school.
This activity is a great example of how a branch can combine creativity, member engagement and community outreach. The decorations created conversation inside the branch while providing a simple way for everyone to help local students start the school year with the supplies they need.
